DANIJEL CITAR | CAPTAIN
Danijel was born in Pula, Istria. For most of his childhood, he spent camping, fishing, sailing, swimming, and diving on various coastlines. Danijel caught a sea bug at an early age and somehow was destined for a life at sea. He is an organized, responsible all-rounder with broad maritime experience & knowledge. At the age of 17, Danijel landed his first job as a deckhand on a 25m charter yacht. He spent the next 3 years gathering experience on various yachts. At the age of 21, Danijel took over the first yacht as Captain of Fairline 78, later of a Ferretti 731. Currently, Danijel holds the position of Captain at the Azimut 68s FALCH. Danijel earned his 100 GT Yachtmaster certification after graduating from the University of Maritime Studies in Rijeka in 2019.
LUKA CUPIC | CHEF / DECKHAND
Luka was born and raised in Zadar, Croatia. From a young age, he developed a deep connection with the sea, spending his childhood exploring the coastline of the Adriatic. Three years ago, Luka embarked on a new adventure in the yachting industry, driven by his passion for sailing and the maritime lifestyle. Before transitioning to yachting, Luka honed his skills as a skipper on sailing boats, mastering the art of navigation and seamanship. His experience as a skipper instilled in him a sense of responsibility and a keen eye for detail, qualities that he carries into his role in the yachting industry. Aside from his professional endeavors, Luka is an avid water sports enthusiast. He finds joy in the freedom of the open sea and actively participates in various aquatic activities. Swimming and diving are among his favorite pastimes, allowing him to explore the vibrant underwater world of the Adriatic. In addition to his love for swimming and diving, Luka has also embraced the challenge of triathlons. Competing in these grueling endurance races has not only tested his physical abilities but has also strengthened his determination and perseverance. Throughout his journey, Luka remains committed to professionalism and excellence in everything he does. His calm demeanor, combined with his dedication to giving his best, makes him a valuable asset in the yachting industry.
