Choose by type and size first, and by yard second. In Croatia a crewed Lagoon or Sunreef catamaran costs about €33,000 to €76,500 a week in high season, a 90 to 110 foot Ferretti about €75,000, and a Princess of 98 to 131 feet €72,000 to €195,000.
Those are typical weeks at the standard we recommend, catamarans from €20,000 and motor yachts from €50,000, before the APA and 13% VAT. Each builder guide shows the full range, smaller yachts included.

Which yacht builder suits a family in Croatia?
For a family of eight to ten, a catamaran is usually the answer in Croatia, with equal cabins and a stable ride in the island anchorages. A Lagoon 55 or 60 gives the most space for the money, and a Sunreef adds more finish and, on some models, a fifth cabin for children.
If the family wants to run from Split to Dubrovnik and back in a week, a 100 foot Ferretti covers the distance with time to spare.
Catamaran or motor yacht: does the builder matter more?
No. The choice between a catamaran and a motor yacht changes the week far more than the badge on either. Below €50,000 a week a catamaran usually wins in Croatia, and above it a motor yacht adds speed and a classic yacht feel.
