#10 DALMATINO

147 ft Luxury Motor Sailor | 2019 | 12 guests | From EUR80,000/week

Luxury motorsailer DALMATINO for charter in Croatia

Our review of DALMATINO

Stepping aboard Dalmatino with Chris and John, we could instantly tell that this 142-foot motorsailer is something special. Built-in 2019, she’s a two-masted ketch with clean, sharp lines and a striking black gloss hull that really makes her stand out. She looks sleek, elegant, and modern.

The cabin layout is one of the most adaptable we’ve seen. With a master, a VIP cabin, and 4 convertible double/twin cabins, you can set up the space in whatever way works best for your group. Chris immediately noted how perfect this is for mixed groups—whether you’re a group of couples, friends, or family, Dalmatino can easily be customized to fit everyone’s needs. It’s rare to find this level of flexibility, and we all agreed this is a huge plus when recommending her for charters.

Inside, the yacht has a minimalist design that feels fresh and uncluttered. The interior is filled with calming grey tones, with cool, modern touches that really catch your eye. One detail that stood out was these funky shell flowerpots—something that would normally seem a bit tacky, but here, they look incredible. It’s little details like this that give Dalmatino her unique vibe. You feel like you’re in a chic, upscale home rather than a yacht.

But the real showstopper is up top. The open top deck features a centrally placed jacuzzi with plenty of lounging space around it, including one large lounge platform next to the jacuzzi. It’s the perfect spot to relax with a drink in hand, soak up the sun, or just enjoy the breeze. The layout makes it feel like a private retreat, even when the yacht is full. And for those looking for more action, Dalmatino comes with two jet skis, adding a fun, adventurous side to the charter.

#9 ANIMA MARIS

160 ft Luxury Motor Sailor | 12 guests | From EUR100,000/week

Luxury Motor Sailor Anima Maris, Croatia Yacht Show 2024, Split

Our review of ANIMA MARIS

Stepping onto Anima Maris, she makes an instant impression, even from the dock. Her light, bright look—with a white hull, gleaming teak deck, and her name elegantly written in gold letters—gives off a polished and glamorous feel. Everything from the shiny stainless steel to her overall finish suggests luxury and attention to detail.

Once onboard, the first thing that hit us was the clean, luxurious style. Walking into the main saloon, the centerpiece is a stunning bar, placed right in the middle of the room with seating all around. You can walk around either side of it, which makes the space feel open and social—perfect for gatherings. We got to experience this firsthand when Anima Maris hosted a cocktail evening, and we can confirm—the drinks were absolutely exquisite.

The sundeck is another highlight. It’s spacious and clearly designed for larger groups, with a big dining table, two facing lounge couches perfect for socializing, and another bar with seating. At the very aft, there’s a jacuzzi surrounded by additional lounging space, making it a perfect setup for a sunset soak or an evening under the stars. It felt like the ideal spot for a group gathering or even a party—the layout just flows naturally for entertaining.

Her cabin layout is flexible, too, with 1 master, 1 VIP, and 4 double/twin convertible cabins. This makes her super adaptable for any group, whether you’re a family, a group of friends, or couples. Anima Maris really combines luxury, style, and functionality, making her an excellent choice for larger groups looking for a yacht that’s both elegant and perfectly set up for socializing.

#8 ACAPELLA

160 ft Luxury Sailing Yacht | 2021 | 12 guests | From EUR88,000/week

Croatian crewed yacht ACAPELLA

Our review of ACAPELLA

Acapella is the yacht we would put in front of couples who want the romance of sail without giving up the comfort of a modern superyacht. She is white, clean, and incredibly elegant: the kind of yacht where you immediately start imagining wedding portraits, honeymoon photos, golden-hour proposals, and long quiet dinners on deck. When Klara stepped onboard, the feeling was not flashy or overdesigned; it was calm, polished, and very refined.

At 49 meters, Acapella has real presence. She was launched in 2021 by a Croatian family with a long shipbuilding tradition, and she still carries that personal, family-run feeling in the best way. Brothers Niksa and Tomislav are part of the crew, and the yacht runs with 9 crew for up to 12 guests. The layout is especially strong for luxury sailing groups: 5 spacious staterooms, including 3 full-beam king cabins and 2 cabins with a double plus single setup, each with ensuite bathrooms.

She is also one of the better choices on this list if guests actually care about sailing. Acapella has electrically operated sails, a 12-knot cruising speed, and the kind of deck flow that lets the charter feel active without ever feeling cramped. Add the Jacuzzi, sundeck, strong tender setup, Seabob, boards, towables, and a Michelin-trained chef noted in her yacht file, and she becomes a very complete romantic or celebration charter: elegant enough for a honeymoon, but substantial enough for a family or mixed group that wants the best of Croatia by sail.

The outdoor spaces on Acapella are made for slow, photogenic days: a broad sundeck, Jacuzzi, shaded dining, and enough open deck space for guests to spread out without losing the feeling of being together. This is why she works so well for romantic charters and celebrations. She feels composed and graceful, but still practical for a full group of 12.

For toys, Acapella has the setup expected at this level: an 11-meter tender with toilet, Seabob, paddleboards, wakeboards, waterskis, towables, snorkeling gear, floating mats, and fishing gear. Overall, she is one of the strongest luxury sailing choices in Croatia when the brief is romance, elegance, and proper sail wrapped in superyacht service.

#7 SCORPIOS

170 ft Tramontana Motorsailer | 2023 | 12 guests | From EUR115,000/week

Croatian Luxury Motorsailer Scorpios from Tremontana Yachts

Our review of SCORPIOS

Stepping aboard Scorpios, the brand-new addition to the Tramontana Yachts family, launched in 2023, we were instantly struck by her sharp, sleek, and bold design. Black and striking, her name seems to fit perfectly. We also have another Tramontana yacht on our list, Reposado, which we have rated as our second favorite. So far, all three Tramontana yachts have impressed us, showing Tramontana’s consistency in delivering high-quality luxury yachts.

The stern of Scorpios is a water sports lover’s dream, featuring a big water toy garage packed with everything you’d want for a day of adventure at sea. From the moment we were greeted by Chief Stewardess Trish—who has been with Tramontana from the start and trains all stewardesses across their fleet—it was clear that service on this yacht is as sharp as it looks.

Our tour started on the flybridge, which blew us away. It’s clear this space was designed with large gatherings in mind. With lounging couches that can be rearranged like building blocks, this is one of the most flexible and practical deck spaces we’ve seen—perfect for events, celebrations, or just a big group of friends enjoying a cruise.

There’s a large dining table, a bar with stools, and, at the very aft, a jacuzzi surrounded by even more lounging areas. One unique touch is the jacuzzi’s edge—designed with bar stools right up against it—so you can chat with friends sitting outside while enjoying a soak inside. It’s a clever, social layout that we instantly loved.

The cabins are just as impressive, decorated in a royal color palette of blue, white, grey, and gold. The en suite bathrooms are some of the most beautifully designed we’ve seen, featuring marble and gold accents that give them an elegant touch. The cabin layout is also customizable, with 1 master, 1 VIP, and 4 convertible double/twin cabins, making the yacht adaptable for various group setups.

#6 RARA AVIS

108 ft Luxury Motorsailer | 12 guests | From EUR65,000/week

Luxury Motorsailer Rara Avis - Stern

Our review of RARA AVIS

Rara Avis might be one of the smaller luxury motorsailers, but she’s packed with personality and great value, making her a standout choice for groups of up to 12 guests. With 6 spacious cabins and consistently 5-star guest reviews, she’s designed to offer a blend of comfort and style. One guest summed it up nicely: “The boat is really well designed, the rooms have excellent size and amenities, more than what we’ve expected. All areas of the boat are spacious and allowed our family of 13 members to get together all the time, but at the same time, we could have areas for privacy.”

The name Rara Avis means “rare bird,” and this theme is subtly carried throughout the yacht with photographs of birds around the cabins—a nice little touch that adds a bit of character.

But what really caught our attention were some of the more unique, funky features, like the moss wall in the main saloon. Yes, you read that right—a living moss wall! It’s made of various types of moss, arranged in a beautiful, natural formation that feels like a living painting. This theme carries into each ensuite bathroom, where smaller moss and succulent arrangements add a touch of greenery. It’s rare to see this kind of feature on a yacht, and we thought it was a really cool, unexpected touch.

The main saloon also impressed us with its attention to detail. We couldn’t help but admire the display cabinet, featuring a model of a beautiful wooden gentleman’s speedboat and, just above it, a hanging cigar cabinet—a nod to classic elegance and luxury. Its little features like these make Rara Avis feel both stylish and thoughtful.

Deckhand Matelj Reljić took us up to the sundeck, where we found a spacious layout with a jacuzzi and plenty of lounging space. What’s great is how they’ve also made use of the foredeck, with lounge seating facing the bow. It’s a perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view when the yacht is underway.

#5 NOCTURNO

158 ft Luxury Motorsailer | 12 guests | From EUR85,000/week

Luxury motorsailer NOCTURNO main exterior

Our review of NOCTURNO

We were lucky to get some super great insights into Nocturno as both our charter brokers, Chris De Kock and Louis Lamprell, were invited on a FAM Trip (familiarization trip) onboard Nocturno following the Croatian Yacht Show in October 2024.

For our charter brokers, these trips are invaluable. They allow us to see the yachts in action, assess their amenities, and interact with the crew, which helps us match the right yacht with the right client. It also helps build strong relationships with yacht owners and operators, which can be crucial for special requests or last-minute bookings.

Nocturno had already been high on our list at the yacht viewing, as she stood out as an overall fantastic yacht with great amenities, and the tour we had had was extremely good. Here’s what they discovered during their time aboard Nocturno—read on to find out!

#4 CLASE AZUL

158 ft Tramontana Luxury Motorsailer | 12 guests

Luxury motorsailer CLASE AZUL main exterior

Our review of CLASE AZUL

Clase Azul is the smart Tramontana pick: a little older than Reposado and Scorpios, but still absolutely in the same luxury conversation. She is the oldest yacht in the Tramontana family, one of Croatia’s finest luxury yacht brands, and that matters because three of our favorite yachts on this list now come from the same stable: Clase Azul, Reposado, and Scorpios. The newer sisters may feel more minimalist, but Clase Azul has not lost any of the luxury standard.

What she gives instead is value. Because she is slightly older than the newer Tramontana yachts, Clase Azul often comes in at a more attractive rate, which can make her a very smart charter for guests who want the Tramontana level of space, crew, and finish without paying the newest-yacht premium. She is also insanely well-kept. The photos tell the story: the exterior still looks sharp, the sundeck is huge, and the interior has more personality than the newer, softer-minimal yachts in the fleet.

The interior is a little more funky, with stronger character, warmer detailing, and a less restrained look than Reposado or Scorpios. For some groups, that is a plus. At 48.2 meters, she accommodates 12 guests in 6 cabins, including a full-beam master, full-beam VIP, and four convertible double/twin cabins. The sundeck has a Jacuzzi for 8, loungers, and a wet bar, and the toy list is serious: 2 Jet Skis, 2 Seabobs, an e-foil, trampoline, paddleboards, kayaks, waterskis, snorkeling gear, and fishing equipment. She is an especially good fit for families or friend groups who want a high-end Croatian motorsailer with a bit more color, energy, and price sense.

#3 MAR ALLURE

137 ft Luxury Motorsailer | 12 guests | From EUR79,000/week

luxury motorsailer MAR ALLURE in croatia

Our review of MAR ALLURE

Ticks All the Boxes + Best Value for Money!

It is frustrating when you see a perfect yacht with an undedicated crew or vice versa, and that happens surprisingly often. But that is not the case with Mar Allure; she might just be one of the most consistently neat yachts we saw at the show.

How does this show? The repeated descriptions of Mar Allure from brokers, both from our team and others, were: Great Condition, fantastic crew, excellent food, great cabin layouts, amazing value for money, perfect sundeck! For the motor sailing yachts at this show, Mar Allure might just have the best sundeck!

A Sundeck That Hits the Spot!

Why does this sundeck work so well? It offers a large, open space with minimal obstructions—just one mast, as the other is positioned on the foredeck. The Jacuzzi is set further back, leaving plenty of room for long loungers along both sides, accompanied by tables and armchairs.

At the front, you’ll find a bar and grill area, making it the perfect spot for social gatherings, with drinks and a barbecue under the stars. Large sunshades can also be set up to cover bigger sections, providing comfort during the day.

A High Standard of Luxury for an Exceptional Price

Mar Allure is the complete package—a brand new 2023 charter yacht with an exceptional crew-to-guest ratio (8 crew for 12 guests) ensuring top-notch service. Her interior and decor exude elegance and luxury, offering the kind of high-end finesse you’d expect from a yacht well above her price range.

The saloon is stunning, featuring a modern, dark, and classic design that feels both cozy and cool. The layout is inviting, with a minimalistic lounge area with deep blue couches and a dining space centered around a striking black and white terrazzo table with comfortable chairs. The beautifully arranged food display was hard to resist—especially the chocolate brownie, which was simply to die for!

Simplistic, Tasteful, and Undeniably High-End

We were happy to see that the high-level luxury feel of Mar Allure’s social areas also extended to the cabins. The bright, minimalistic design made the cabins feel extra spacious and fresh. While simplicity was the focus, thoughtful touches like beautifully folded towels and carefully placed decor items added a sense of elegance throughout the space.

The ensuite bathrooms were equally impressive—spacious, with marble countertops and forest-green wall tiles that created a calming atmosphere. The neatly arranged toiletries and attention to detail made it feel refined and luxurious. The key themes here are thorough, tasteful, and undeniably high-end!

#2 REPOSADO

171 ft Tramontana Motorsailer | 2024 | 12 guests

Luxury motorsailer REPOSADO main exterior

Our review of REPOSADO

We Loved the Cabin Design and the Sun Deck!

Reposado arrived on the last day of the show, right after finishing their last Croatia yacht charter of the season, to then immediately have over 100 brokers onboard. It is impressive just how prepared they were for that–The yacht was spotless!

When we stepped aboard, Repasado immediately impressed us. Her design is meticulous and consistent, from fabric textures to light fixtures and color schemes. –The napkins in the saloon match the pillows on the sun deck, and the wall piece in the master cabin matches the stunning light fixture above the dining table. Someone really thought this through!

Croatia’s First Luxury Yacht Brand

Reposado was designed and built by Tramontana Yachts, a luxury yacht building and yacht charter company founded by Antonio Ivanisević. It is actually Croatia’s first luxury yacht brand, based in Krilo Jesenice.

The Ivanisević family has deep roots in the region’s nautical history, dating back to the 18th century when the family was involved in shipbuilding and maritime trade. Antonio’s vision for Tramontana is inspired by his great-grandfather, Don Frane Ivanisević, a prominent local figure who significantly contributed to developing the community and the local port.

We met Antonio on our tour of the yacht when he was photobombing a photo of the chef and sous chef in the Galley. Despite his young age, Antonio’s bold vision and ambition have quickly set him apart in the industry, turning his ideas into a thriving reality. At this point, Tramontana Yachts have 3 luxury charter yachts in charter: The other two are Scorpios (also in the show) and Clase Azul.

Reposado Had Many Great Design Features We Liked

  • Big open sundeck with a center Jacuzzi with a marble top edge for putting your drinks on, and one of the best-equipped outdoor kitchens/bars with barbeque and portable pizza oven- the chef can make anything here.
  • Side fold-down balcony where you can enjoy a morning coffee with the water right beneath you or a romantic dinner for two.
  • Beautiful modern and light cabins with wavy mirrors and a private lounge area with a sofa and armchair. Plus, there is a makeup area with a comfortable chair on a marble top with a big mirror and excellent light. And I shouldn’t forget the walk-in closet.

All The Features of a Large Motor Yacht

Reposado is a motor sailing yacht, but she has all the onboard luxuries of a motor yacht: Huge interior and exterior space, a large garage full of water toys, a beach deck with easy access to the water, and she has 2 Jet Ski on the foredeck.

In terms of speed, she is also comparable to the larger motor yachts with a cruising speed of 11 knots (The 158-foot motor yacht Freedom on the dock next to her does 10).

#1 LADY GITA

161 ft Custom-Built Motor Sailing Yacht | 12 guests | From EUR99,000/week

Luxury motorsailer LADY GITA main exterior

Our review of LADY GITA

Why Lady Was The Favorite Yacht for the Entire Team

It is easy to find a good-looking yacht with luxurious amenities and a big selection of toys, but this is not all a luxury yacht charter is about. Lady Gita is MORE than a pretty charter yacht; she is a concept with a crew who pours their heart into making her a life-changing experience for her guests.

And how do we know it is working? The numbers are more than clear: Lady Gita had 11 out of 14 repeat guests this season! Among these was a group who came onboard for the 6th time, and yes, they have booked again next year.

More than Just a Yacht Charter, Lady Gita is Selling Concepts

When word of Lady Gita spread among our team members, everyone made sure to get onboard for a look and a greeting with her crew. Our tour was led by Second Hostess Marina Saskor, an outgoing and highly professional Croat with a slight Irish Accent. Marina has been onboard Lady Gita for 6 years, and it is clear that she is passionate and knows the yacht inside and out.

–It was due to Marina’s great stories of their many special activities, theme nights, and a tradition for setting up a dinner for their guests on the top of a high island in the middle of the ruins of an old movie set, that I was later inspired to go back for a full interview. This type of extra love being thrown at the guests is honestly priceless in the world of charters.

The Girls Onbaord Design and Organize the Themes to a T

Later, at a sit-down interview with Marina, I asked her to tell me more about the theme parties, as this is something we are always on the lookout for. Marina tells me that it is, in fact, her and the other girls onboard that are the masterminds behind the ideas. They handle everything—from creating the concepts to buying the decorations and designing the entire setup.

For example, for a Great Gatsby Party, they hosted for some repeat guests, they even found local dancers in Split to perform, adding an extra touch of glamour. Now, they have a reliable connection for entertainment whenever they need it again. It’s all about those personal, well-thought-out activities that make their yacht charters really unique!

Love is in the Details

Every broker has their own particular things they look out for while inspecting a yacht, but everyone knows to look closely at the details: Is the stainless polished, does the carpet meet the wall in a perfect line, is the bedding practical as well as esthetic, how does it smell in the cabins and so on. But most importantly, what does this yacht do that is extra? Lady Gita answers this with things like personalized gifts left for the guests on the beds that change every year so repeat clients can look forward to something new.

Regulars See Captain Toni as a Good Friend

Of course we also met Lady Gita’s Captain and Owner, Antonio Kovic (Toni), a very welcoming man with over 15 years of experience at sea, working on the Princess Cruises before buying his first Gulet Linda.

Toni had Lady Gita built in 2019 and has run yacht charters on her ever since, with impressive success and a repeat rate rarely seen in yacht chartering. Toni is more than a captain to many of his guests; he is a friend that they keep in contact with outside of the charter and look forward to seeing again on their next vacation onboard.
