10 Superyachts of the 50-Metre Class to Charter in Croatia in 2026: 146 to 185 ft (45 to 56 m), Ranked by Length

Last updated: September 2026

The 50 metre class covers yachts of 146 to 185 feet, about 45 to 56 metres. We list 60 yachts in it, and 55 of them name Croatia as a cruising area. The class has two faces here: 12-guest superyachts from named yards such as Benetti, Abeking & Rasmussen, Perini Navi, CRN and Codecasa, and custom builds, several of them based in Croatia and listed for large groups.

Below are 10 of them, picked to show that range, from a 1952 classic built in Pula to a 2025 new build, not to crown a single best boat. The countdown runs from #10, the shortest, up to #1, the longest, by listed length; where two share a length, the newer ranks higher. Lengths, guest counts and rates are as shown on each listing on 29 September 2026, and we label each rate with the year its listing gives.

What 146 to 185 Feet Gets You in Croatia

Guests. Most charter yachts stop at 12 guests, because a vessel carrying more than twelve passengers counts as a passenger ship, and 29 of our 60 listings in this band take exactly 12. Croatia is one of the few exceptions: some Croatian-licensed vessels can take bigger groups in Croatian waters, as our guide to yacht charters for more than 12 guests explains. In this band, 26 of the 60 are listed for more than 12, from 14 up to 49 guests.

Cabins and builders. Among the 12-guest yachts, six cabins is the norm; the big-group yachts run to 10 to 25 cabins. Thirty-two listings give the builder simply as custom; among named yards, Perini Navi and Benetti appear three times each.

What they cost. Of the 57 priced in euros, the middle starting rate is €115,000 per week, with the cheapest tenth starting below about €70,000 per week and the dearest tenth above about €201,000 per week.

What a 50 Metre Charter in Croatia Costs

The rates above are charter fees only. On top come the APA, an advance for fuel, food and marina fees that is settled against what is actually spent, and VAT. For charters in Croatia, VAT is a flat 13 percent on the charter fee, not on the APA, as our first crewed charter guide explains. The APA on these listings runs from 25 percent (SEAGULL II and MAIA) to 35 percent (ARGO) and higher on some listings. The Athens- and Piraeus-based listings quote Greek VAT for Greek waters.

As a general illustration, a charter fee of €200,000 per week with 13 percent VAT comes to €226,000 per week, and a 35 percent APA adds an advance of €70,000 per week, settled against what is actually spent.

How to Choose Within the Class

Most Croatian weeks board around Split and Trogir, 15 to 35 minutes from Split airport, and in summer the afternoon wind is usually the maestral, a northwesterly. Start with the group. For more than 12 guests, ARGO and CASABLANCA are the two here whose listings clearly allow it, and our list of Croatia yacht charters for 13 to 30 guests has more. For 12 or fewer, choose between the Split-based LADY GITA and SEAGULL II, MAIA, which lists Croatia and Greece, and the classic builds that list Croatia from bases in Greece: VERA, ALEXANDRA, BARACUDA VALLETTA and XANA. WIND OF FORTUNE’s guest number is confirmed when we quote.
