For groups of around 30 guests or more, Croatia small ship cruises usually make more sense than trying to stretch a traditional yacht charter. These vessels offer more cabins, larger dining areas, better group flow, and the space needed for weddings, corporate retreats, milestone birthdays, and multi-family trips.
We ranked these Croatia small ship cruises by guest capacity, cabin comfort, onboard facilities, crew setup, value, and how well each vessel works for a private full-ship charter. This list focuses on the yachts and mini cruise ships that can handle larger groups without losing the private charter feeling.
If your group is smaller, see our Top 10 Croatia Yacht Charters for 13-30 Guests.
How we ranked them:
-
Guest experience & layout functionality
-
Crew reputation (service, local knowledge, hospitality)
-
Client feedback and booking popularity
-
Features vs. value (price relative to what you get)

The experience of sailing on LE PONANT is wonderful; with minimal running rigging, the crew is able to leave the expansive deck areas free for guests to relax while silently cruising under sail. (The captain and crew make the most of every opportunity to sail rather than motor.)
The cuisine on board is outstanding and a big part of the experience. The Executive Chef is French, and there is a team of 5 in the galley.
The yacht’s crew also includes a Beautician, a Sports Coach, an Expedition Leader, and a Naturalist, enhancing guest adventures with expert guidance for both adults and children.
For explorations off the beaten path, LE PONANT is equipped with four expedition-style Zodiac tenders, ideal for discovering remote coastlines.
I included LE PONANT because she presents a unique opportunity to experience something more: expedition-style cruising. And since the sailing conditions are so great in the Mediterranean, why not be on a sailing yacht charter and experience moving by the power of the elements?
LE PONANT is not just limited to Croatia but has itineraries that span the globe, including upcoming trips in the Kimberleys in northern Australia, Indonesia, and Papua. If your travel plans don’t align with her being in Greece, consider joining her to explore other extraordinary parts of the world.
