LE PONANT Yacht Description
Big group, under sail. LE PONANT is a 84.33m (277ft) motor-sailer built in 1990 and completely rebuilt in 2022, set up to sleep 32 guests in 16 suites. It’s the rare charter platform that handles a full house without feeling like a floating conference.
Serious deck life. You get the guest-pleasing stuff that makes days run smoothly: a beach club for easy water access, a swimming pool for non-saltwater people, and stabilizers at anchor to keep the wine glasses honest. Plus a deck jacuzzi, because of course.
Expedition toys, minus chaos. Three expedition-style Zodiac tenders make getting off the yacht and back on again fast and painless. Add kayaks, paddleboards (including convertible SUP/windsurf boards), underwater sea scooters, and scuba gear with a compressor. No waterskis or wakeboards here.
Suites with flexibility. The 16 cabins are spread over three decks and use convertible bed setups, so the layout can bend around couples, twins, or mixed groups without drama. Air conditioning and Wi‑Fi are on board for when “off-grid” is a nice idea in theory.
