Ferretti Yacht Charter in Croatia: Cost and the Yachts We Recommend

A crewed Ferretti in Croatia costs about €75,000 a week in high season at the standard we recommend, from €50,000, plus expenses and 13% VAT. That mostly means a Ferretti of 88 to 111 feet, at €51,000 to €120,000.

The smaller Ferrettis of 60 to 89 feet run about €24,000 to €47,500 a week. We count 31 Ferrettis cruising Croatia in our catalogue, and 9 are listed on this site.

Which Ferretti yachts can you charter in Croatia?

Ferretti Yachts was founded in 1968 by the brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti and builds flybridge motor yachts in Italy. Its group also owns Riva, Pershing and CRN.

The Ferrettis cruising Croatia fall into three sizes:

  • 60 to 79 feet: twelve yachts for six to eight guests, at about €24,000 to €34,000 a week.
  • 80 to 89 feet: four yachts for eight to ten guests, at about €47,500 a week.
  • 90 feet and up: fifteen yachts for ten to twelve guests with five cabins, at about €75,000 to €84,000 a week. This is where we recommend starting for a fully crewed week.

The APA and 13% Croatian VAT come on top, and our Croatia yacht charter cost guide works through a real example.

Below €50,000 a week, a crewed catamaran usually gives a better week in Croatia than an older motor yacht: a Lagoon 55 or 60 runs about €33,000 and a Sunreef 60 about €42,500.

Ferretti or Princess: which motor yacht suits Croatia?

These are the choices we weigh most often in Croatia:

  • Ferretti: roomy Italian flybridge yachts, about €75,000 a typical week at the standard we recommend.
  • Princess: British flybridge yachts and superyachts, about €117,000 a typical week at that standard. See our Princess page.
  • A luxury catamaran: more deck space and less fuel for the same group, from about €42,500 for a Sunreef 60.

A 100 foot Ferretti cruises at about 12 to 16 knots, so a week from Split can take in Hvar, Vis and Korčula with time to spare. Every motor yacht we list is on our Croatia motor yacht charter page.
