Uvala Mala Luka is situated on the West side of Otok-Drvenikk Veli. It is approximately 1 M South West of Drvenik. The beautiful bay is surrounded by mighty wooded slopes. Since there is a fish farm here, visitors may smell something extremely pungent and fishy while approaching the anchorage. There are radar reflectors and lights on the fish farm, so it is very easy to locate it.
Where to anchor
The S part of the bay has room to anchor. Anchorage is accessible NW but is sheltered from all directions (afternoon breeze included).
General Information
Catch a ferry boat and head to the nearby islands – Brac and Hvar. Although this place is great for relaxation, party lovers can venture to the nearby cities Makarska and Split.
Uvala Mala Luka is situated on the Adriatic coast between Makarska and Split. It has two beaches, a supremely luxurious restaurant, a plush bar area, and some great apartments for long and short stays.
Beaches
There are only two beaches in Uvala Mala Luka. Both stretch a kilometer in length and are secluded. If you believe in deep relaxation, spread a beach towel or lie down on the sand.
You can also get your bikinis and beach shorts as the beaches are perfect for a swim.
Mala Luka Beach in Omis has crystal clear water. There are small pebbles and the nearby trees offer plenty of shade to the travelers. Find a rope, unleash the inner Tarzan, and jump into the water.
