Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailing catamaran like DESSUS, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€4,410 - €7,718), making the charter cost €26,460 to €29,768. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Captain: Pepi Jardas

CAPTAIN PEPI JARDAS
Captain Pepi Jardas was born and raised in Opatia. Growing up in vicinity of the sea, he was always engaged with water and sea. He has been a captain onboard DESSUS since her launch and knows DESSUS from inside out. He can talk about her in details for hours. His experience includes navigating diverse vessels, including catamarans, motor yachts and sailing boats, both for pleasure and for competition. His career on board has resulted in great experience and vast knowledge of the Croatian coats, islands, beautiful beaches and coves and also historical sights and gastronomic scene. Pepi is fluent in English and Italian language, and can get by in Russian language. With his calm attitude, responsible and hardworking approach, captain Pepi will always make sure the guests onboard Sunreef 60 DESSUS have an unforgettable and unique Croatian charter experience.

CHEF NIKOLA BILANDŽIJA
Nikola is a cooking enthusiast, truly in love with food and cooking, and therefore with his work.
For himself, he would say that he is self-taught, although educated cook, which means hours and hours of studying from professional literature and cookbooks, and then practice through trial and error in the kitchen.
Nikola also incorporated rich experience in some of the best Croatian restaurants on that path; using the opportunity to lead his own team as a Head and Executive chef to expand and perfect his skills and knowledge.
He grew as a cook and chef, and held creative cooking workshops, did a lot of fine dining dinners with wine pairings from acclaimed Croatian winemakers, participated in a popular TV show, and all that was accompanied by Croatian web portals and newspapers in which he appeared.
Currently, after several years of acquiring skills and knowledge in cooking, Nikola embarked on a new experience and adventure by cooking on charter sailboats and catamarans, thus providing satisfaction and pleasure to guests,
through the experience of food, sailing around the beautiful destinations of the Adriatic Sea and islands.
Nikola's most favourite place on Adriatic Coast is the island of Vis, because of its crystal clear sea, countless beautiful hidden bays, but also because of the well-known casualness of the locals and their relaxed way of life.
His favorite dish to prepare on board is the one he improvises, when the guests indulge in Nikola's imagination, then mutual enjoyment of his cooking arises.

HOSTESS NIKOLIJA BARETIĆ
Nikolija has a degree in Fashion design studies and Painting studies, which she completed in Zagreb, and she uses her artistic background in her work as a hostess, always striving to create and offer unique experience for her guests.
Upon finishing her studies, she worked in the fashion and designer industry, creating fashion collections, marketing campaigns and contents. Soon after, she decided to further expand her knowledge in culinary fields, since that was always a passion of hers.
Having attended many cooking classes, she gained experience and worked as a freelance hostess on various boats in charter.
Nikolija then became a standing hostess on luxury vessels and motor yachts and was in charge of equipping boats, food provisioning, maintaining boat tidiness and ensuring guests satisfaction.
With positive attitude, attention to detail and good organisation skills, she easily takes on all tasks responsibly and is eager to learn new things.
Her excellent communication skills with teamwork and friendly attitude make her a great part of crew onboard Sunreef 60 DESSUS.

August 10-17, 2024 DUBROVNIK - SPLIT
A primary reason we chose Dessus was the all Croatian crew based on their profiles and experience. We were not disappointed! Ante, Nikola and NIKOLIJA were outstanding Ante listened to our wishes and interests and then organized an itinerary and excursions that exceeded our expectations. These included biking, wine tasting, dinner at an ancient monastery, olive oil tasting, historical Land Rover tour, dinner reservations, taxis and more. Nikola prepared outstanding meals and quickly adapted to each persons dietary needs (example , gluten free) and desires throughout the week. His attention to detail, taste and presentation made each meal both delicious and beautiful. NIKOLIJA’s warm heart and passion for exceptional service was evident every day. She tirelessly made sure our accommodations were tidy and our glasses never empty. She surprised us with special cocktails, created a beautiful table scape decoration every meal, and planned several outings for us as well. We all had such an amazing time and especially appreciated this team’s exceptionally tailored help to create family memories for a lifetime. Thank you.

July 15-22, 2024
This trip was our 3rd Catamaran experience and by far the best. First of all DESSUS is a beautiful Catamaran with the finest luxury inside and out. It more than suits its purpose and as a guest I really did feel like I was staying in a 5 star hotel. The crew were wonderful, extremely professional, friendly, knowledgable and made our holiday a pleasure from morning till night, nothing was too much trouble. Captain Ante took us to the very best coves and towns to find and avoid the worst/best weather. He worked with me daily to make sure we were happy with all arrangements and times. He also organised our transfers and drop off for my son who was leaving earlier with ease. Chef was spectacular, each meal better than the last! You wouldn’t have known he had been cooking, as the galley area was always pristine, clean and tidy. He also understood our preferences perfectly. Nicolija escorted us to the best bars, restaurants, winery, as well as organising tours for us in all the towns we visited. Her recommendations were perfect to suit all of us. She would be an asset to Any crew. The whole team worked so well together we really have nothing negative to say.

Growing up in vicinity of the sea, he was always engaged with water and sea. He has been a captain onboard DESSUS since her launch and knows DESSUS from inside out. He can talk about her in details for hours. His experience includes navigating diverse vessels, including catamarans, motor yachts and sailing boats, both for pleasure and for competition. His career on board has resulted in great experience and vast knowledge of the Croatian coats, islands, beautiful beaches and coves and also historical sights and gastronomic scene. Pepi is fluent in English and Italian language, and can get by in Russian language. With his calm attitude, responsible and hardworking approach, captain Pepi will always make sure the guests onboard Sunreef 60 DESSUS have an unforgettable and unique Croatian charter experience. <br /> <br /> CHEF NIKOLA BILANDŽIJA<br /> Nikola is a cooking enthusiast, truly in love with food and cooking, and therefore with his work. <br /> For himself, he would say that he is self-taught, although educated cook, which means hours and hours of studying from professional literature and cookbooks, and then practice through trial and error in the kitchen. <br /> Nikola also incorporated rich experience in some of the best Croatian restaurants on that path; using the opportunity to lead his own team as a Head and Executive chef to expand and perfect his skills and knowledge. <br /> He grew as a cook and chef, and held creative cooking workshops, did a lot of fine dining dinners with wine pairings from acclaimed Croatian winemakers, participated in a popular TV show, and all that was accompanied by Croatian web portals and newspapers in which he appeared.<br /> Currently, after several years of acquiring skills and knowledge in cooking, Nikola embarked on a new experience and adventure by cooking on charter sailboats and catamarans, thus providing satisfaction and pleasure to guests, <br /> through the experience of food, sailing around the beautiful destinations of the Adriatic Sea and islands.<br /> Nikola's most favourite place on Adriatic Coast is the island of Vis, because of its crystal clear sea, countless beautiful hidden bays, but also because of the well-known casualness of the locals and their relaxed way of life.<br /> His favorite dish to prepare on board is the one he improvises, when the guests indulge in Nikola's imagination, then mutual enjoyment of his cooking arises.<br /> <br /> HOSTESS NIKOLIJA BARETIĆ<br /> Nikolija has a degree in Fashion design studies and Painting studies, which she completed in Zagreb, and she uses her artistic background in her work as a hostess, always striving to create and offer unique experience for her guests.<br /> Upon finishing her studies, she worked in the fashion and designer industry, creating fashion collections, marketing campaigns and contents. Soon after, she decided to further expand her knowledge in culinary fields, since that was always a passion of hers.<br /> Having attended many cooking classes, she gained experience and worked as a freelance hostess on various boats in charter.<br /> Nikolija then became a standing hostess on luxury vessels and motor yachts and was in charge of equipping boats, food provisioning, maintaining boat tidiness and ensuring guests satisfaction. <br /> With positive attitude, attention to detail and good organisation skills, she easily takes on all tasks responsibly and is eager to learn new things.<br /> Her excellent communication skills with teamwork and friendly attitude make her a great part of crew onboard Sunreef 60 DESSUS. </p></div> </div> </div> </div>

We were not disappointed! Ante, Nikola and NIKOLIJA were outstanding Ante listened to our wishes and interests and then organized an itinerary and excursions that exceeded our expectations. These included biking, wine tasting, dinner at an ancient monastery, olive oil tasting, historical Land Rover tour, dinner reservations, taxis and more. Nikola prepared outstanding meals and quickly adapted to each persons dietary needs (example , gluten free) and desires throughout the week. His attention to detail, taste and presentation made each meal both delicious and beautiful. NIKOLIJA’s warm heart and passion for exceptional service was evident every day. She tirelessly made sure our accommodations were tidy and our glasses never empty. She surprised us with special cocktails, created a beautiful table scape decoration every meal, and planned several outings for us as well. First of all DESSUS is a beautiful Catamaran with the finest luxury inside and out. It more than suits its purpose and as a guest I really did feel like I was staying in a 5 star hotel. The crew were wonderful, extremely professional, friendly, knowledgable and made our holiday a pleasure from morning till night, nothing was too much trouble. Captain Ante took us to the very best coves and towns to find and avoid the worst/best weather. He worked with me daily to make sure we were happy with all arrangements and times. He also organised our transfers and drop off for my son who was leaving earlier with ease. Chef was spectacular, each meal better than the last! You wouldn’t have known he had been cooking, as the galley area was always pristine, clean and tidy. He also understood our preferences perfectly. Nicolija escorted us to the best bars, restaurants, winery, as well as organising tours for us in all the towns we visited. Her recommendations were perfect to suit all of us. She would be an asset to Any crew. The whole team worked so well together we really have nothing negative to say.</div><div class='clr'></div> </div> </div>
