AKANA Yacht Description
First, the system upgrade: AKANA is a 2019 Lagoon 52 catamaran, fully refit in 2025, wired with Starlink Wi‑Fi and run by a proven two‑person crew team. Translation: modern platform, fresh hardware, and a captain–chef duo who already know how to run smooth, guest-focused charters together.
Real value is in the layout, not the logo. Five double cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms, sleep up to 10 guests without anyone getting the short straw. Two of those cabins have direct access to the aft deck, so early swimmers and late‑night readers can move in and out without waking the whole boat.
Outside is where AKANA stops being generic. The flybridge is a proper living space, not an afterthought – sunpads, elevated views and a social hub while sailing. Aft, the U‑shaped dining area is built for long lunches and slow dinners, backed up by a hydraulic swim platform that turns into your beach club and water‑toy launch pad instead of a ladder you argue over.
Toys and tech actually match how people use the boat. You get two SeaBobs, an e‑foil, wakeboard, paddleboard, towables, snorkelling and fishing gear – enough to keep a mixed‑age group busy without needing a support vessel. Onboard entertainment is handled by flat‑screen TV and Bluetooth sound, plus full‑boat air‑conditioning for when “fresh sea breeze” stops being cute.
The hidden feature is the crew. Davor (captain) brings nearly two decades on Lagoon cats; Una (chef/hostess) runs Mediterranean, ingredient‑driven menus and has trained other hostesses. They know how to read a group, balance activity with downtime, and quietly handle the details so your main decision loop is “swim, toy, nap or eat.”

Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like AKANA, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price (€3,900 - €6,825), making the charter cost €23,400 to €26,325. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
