My clients took RIVA on a week's charter through Croatia, sailing from Split to Dubrovnik between 22 and 29 August 2026, with Captain Kuzman Kraljev and Chief Stewardess Tomi leading the crew. It was a big group of friends, and partway through the week one of my guests told me straight out, "The boat is amazing. It really is. The food is great as well." Their guide for the Split walking tour left a strong impression too, described simply as "excellent." By the second half of the trip the crew had settled into a rhythm the guests noticed: my client wrote that "the crew is warming up to us and we had signing wait staff last night." The onboard massage therapist was a particular highlight, even starting her sessions earlier to fit the group's schedule, with my guests saying "the guests are absolutely raving about the massage therapist and how good she is." By the end of the charter my client called it "the best thing I have ever done for my friends" and said the whole party was "most impressed." I was also glad to hear that the Hotel Ambassador, which I'd recommended for the pre-charter stay, was "a fabulous start to our adventure in every way."

Variable expenses — fuel, food, marina fees — are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), an additional deposit added to the charter price. The remainder is returned after charter.
