Captain interview
Lotus: Smooth Island Hopping Yacht Charter in Croatia
The captain of Lotus discusses the yacht's design as a motor sailer, its accommodations, and why it is perfectly suited for island hopping charters along the Croatian coast.
In this video
It's perfect for charter in Croatia because the distance between the islands is not very far away. During every charter, we can actually sail from island to island.

Our average cruising speed is about 10.5-11 knots. So basically every day we spend 2-3 hours in navigation.

It's hard to tell because all the coast is beautiful, but let's say this area from Split to Dubrovnik is the most popular one.

Transcript — Lotus: Smooth Island Hopping Yacht Charter in Croatia
>> It is a motor sailer, Lotus. It was built in Istanbul, in Tuzla, Turkey, 2006. Overall, it is a 30-meter sailer with four cabins in total.
>> We have two master cabins. We have one double and one twin cabin.
>> For the motor sailers, it's a motor yacht. Also, it's possible to sail with it. It has masts, it has sails. So yeah, it's perfect for charter in Croatia. Why? Because the distance between the islands is not very far away. During every charter, we can actually sail from island to island. But mostly, of course, we use motors. Our average cruising speed is about 10.5-11 knots. So basically every day we spend 2-3 hours in navigation. It's very short, even sometimes it's shorter than that because of the distance between the islands.
>> It's hard to tell because all the coast is beautiful, but let's say this area from Split to Dubrovnik is the most popular one. So, if you're interested in any of these beautiful yachts, please give me a call at DMA Yachting. My name is John.
