Catamaran, properly sized. XMOTION is a 78-foot Sunreef Yachts build from 2023, set up to sleep 8 guests in 4 double cabins. Big beam helps too.
Deck flow that works. A flybridge with a U-shaped sofa and two flexible tables gives you an easy all-day hangout, while full-beam sliding doors link the aft cockpit dining area straight to the interior salon. One big social space. No cabin fever.
Easy water access. Steps down on either side plus a hydraulic swim platform make swim stops quicker and less like a traffic jam, and the platform doubles as extra deck space at anchor.
Toys for actual use. You get a Williams 520 tender for getting around, plus two Seabobs, two stand-up paddleboards, a wakeboard, waterskis, kneeboard, an inflatable kayak, towables, masks and fins, and a TRIBORD inflatable sailing boat for low-effort water time.

X MOTION's clean, grey-toned main saloon is as impressive as you'd expect from a Sunreef 80, centred on an electric fireplace and kept minimal and clutter-free. Big windows give 360-degree views for a floating-beach-villa feel, and the bow — with its huge trampolines and lounge couch — is a fantastic connection to the sea. The hydraulic beach deck makes launching water toys effortless.

Variable expenses — fuel, food, marina fees — are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), an additional deposit added to the charter price. The remainder is returned after charter.

What a week! We were promised that our socks would be blown off and the crew delivered big time. X Motion is a gorgeous, meticulously maintained cat that proved to be the perfect boat for our group. Captain Grzeg is excellent, safely guiding us to the best spots.
Matt ensured we were always well-anchored and entertained with the toys on offer (not to mention answering our endless questions about life in South Africa).
Anya makes the BEST cocktails!
And embodied a sense of warmth and welcome that made us feel truly at home while exploring foreign seas: "Can I get you something? A negroni, Mike?"
And Mladen... delicious creations emerged from his small galley below. Extraordinary cooking, baking, and desserts.
