JANTAR Yacht Description
Start with the cheat code: JANTAR is a 68ft Maiora that behaves like a “mini‑superyacht”: full‑beam master, full‑beam VIP, and a third twin cabin (convertible to double), so up to 6 guests get proper, grown‑up suites instead of compromise bunks. Recently refit (latest works 2023/24), she’s a proven platform that’s been quietly upgraded rather than endlessly re‑described.
Day mode: sunlight and bandwidth. The main saloon runs the classic Maiora formula – big windows, warm woods, pale furnishings, and an easy flow between lounge and dining – but here the emphasis is on actual liveability: full air‑con, strong 4G/5G Wi‑Fi, TV in all cabins and saloon, and a multimedia system that covers inside and out. Translation: you can “check out” without actually dropping offline.
Outside is where JANTAR stops pretending. Large sunpads on deck and flybridge, a bimini when you’ve had enough UV, a fridge on the fly, BBQ, hydraulic gangway, and a proper bathing platform that works as the launchpad for everything else. This isn’t a decorative swim step – it’s the base station for your daily toy deployment.
Toy locker, not toy token. For a 68‑footer, the hardware list is disproportionate: Avon jet tender (80hp), SeaBob, E‑foil, wakeboard, water skis (adult & kids), 2× e‑bikes, donut, floating beach, SUP, snorkelling gear and a 2‑pax kayak. If your plan is “sit still and read”, this may actually be the wrong boat.
Under the hood: fast enough to matter. Twin MTU 2 × 1250hp engines push JANTAR to around 28 knots, with a comfortable 22‑knot cruising speed. That means you can treat distances as optional, not limiting – hit more bays, more towns, more anchorages in a week without the itinerary turning into a logistics exercise.
Why charter JANTAR instead of another 20‑metre motor yacht: because you get big‑yacht guest cabins, serious water toys, a recent refit and a seasoned 2‑person crew who’ve run this specific yacht for years. It’s a tight, efficient, well‑drilled operation for small groups who want a busy, activity‑heavy week rather than just a nice sofa with a view.

We were lucky enough to return this year to celebrate our parent's 50th wedding anniversaries, and unsurprisingly the grandchildren managed to make themselves available for a return visit too!
