Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailboat like Alba, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€2,850 - €5,700), making the charter cost €21,850 to €24,700. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Crew Information
Captain: Luka Serbo
Luka Serbo
Captain
Luka has been around the sea since childhood, and his passion for engineering has been a long-standing part of his life.
He started exploring the workings of engines at his father’s repair station, working on all kinds of vehicles and machinery. Choosing his lifetime profession was clear to Luka, but he felt he needed to graduate from two high schools.
After completing his studies at a Technical High School, he also graduated from Nautical High School. Even during his school years, Luka gained extensive experience in
general and boat engineering. Currently, in his sixth season with the yacht Alba, Luka knows the vessel inside out. He started as an engineer performing regular maintenance during the winter and later worked as a deckhand
during the charter season.
In 2018, Luka was offered the role of captain on Alba. He embraced the opportunity and has since explored this new aspect of his life. Luka is an adventurous spirit and loves activities like biking, mountain biking, motorbiking, basketball, and tennis. He seizes every opportunity to play. Luka is a hard worker and team player, with an unobtrusive yet genuinely pleasant personality.
He leads the Alba team well. Fluent in English and enthusiastic about his job, Luka will do everything possible to provide Alba’s clients with an enjoyable charter holiday.
Damir Serbo
Deckhand
Damir is an energetic and experienced individual who has spent his entire life working on the sea. After completing his degree in Maritime Engineering, he joined the crew of Gulet Alba for his third season as a deck hand.
His responsibilities include handling ropes and mooring lines, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the vessel’s exterior, and
assisting with navigation and steering. Damir is a dedicated worker who takes pride in his work, always willing to lend a helping hand and go the extra mile to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for guests
aboard Gulet Alba.
He actively seeks ways to improve his skills and knowledge of the industry, remaining open to new techniques and approaches. Among Damir’s most notable qualities is his positive attitude and friendly demeanor. He
has a natural ability to make guests feel welcome and comfortable, and his upbeat personality is contagious. As a team player, Damir works well with others and always goes above and beyond to ensure the success of each voyage.
Overall, his experience, skills, and positive attitude make him an excellent addition to the crew of Gulet Alba, and a valuable member of the vessel’s team.
Fedja Stasenko
Chef
Fedja Stasenko, born in 1975, is a versatile professional and enthusiast with a prosperous career and diverse interests. After earning a degree in engineering, he quickly realized that this field wasn’t his true calling. He began his career working on Golden Horizon and Katina ships, where he gained valuable experience.
Fedja managed two restaurants, one in Hvar and one in Split. His passion for culinary arts and his unwavering commitment to introducing guests to the richness of traditional Mediterranean cuisine led him to dedicate himself to working on a ship. Now, through his work, he strives to present authentic menus and delicacies from our region to his guests.
In addition to his professional achievements, he is an avid scout, sailor, and talented guitarist. These hobbies enrich his life and provide balance and fulfilment outside of work.
Ivor Tonsic
Steward
Ivor is an energetic and dedicated crew member aboard the Gulet Alba. With four years of yachting experience, he excels as a steward. Over the past two years, he has worked specifically on the Alba as a deckhand and steward. This dual role has given him an in-depth understanding of the ship and its operations. Ivor’s time abroad has also made him fluent in English, enhancing his ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds. He is always eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities for personal growth.
Ivor enjoys keeping fit in his leisure time by going to the gym. He is also passionate about music and loves exploring new artists and genres. This enthusiasm for music is reflected in his work on the Alba, where he carefully curates playlists to enhance the guests’ experience. As the new season approaches, Ivor is excited about another successful year on the Gulet Alba. He is committed to delivering top-notch service and looks forward to the new adventures and experiences the season offers.
