Onboard visit
We were onboard Conte Alberti, and she solves the weather problem better than most boats her size: there is a dining table inside, one outside and one on the flybridge, so there is always somewhere right to eat. What stood out to me is that flybridge, a whole deck of its own rather than a sun pad and a railing. The master is the only cabin on the main deck, with windows above the bed for looking at the sky. Her core crew have been together five years, and the deck engineer has been aboard for twelve.
