MERCURY Yacht Description
Outdoor space, sorted. MERCURY is a 50m (164ft) Amels motor yacht built in 2001 and refit in 2006, set up for guests who want proper deck time. The sundeck is unusually long and finishes with a spa pool, so the “where do we sit?” question gets answered early.
Steady at anchor. Zero-speed stabilisers help keep things comfortable when you are stopped, and stabilisers underway take the edge off when you are moving. Small detail. Big difference by day three.
Watersports without excuses. The swimming platform makes getting in and out straightforward, then the toybox takes over: 3 jet skis (2 SeaDoo Spark plus a stand-up Yamaha Superjet), 2 Seabobs (F5 and F7), plus wakeboards, water skis, towables, kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkelling and fishing gear.
Sleep 12, sensibly. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in 5 cabins: a main-deck master, plus two doubles and two twins on the lower deck, with 2 Pullman berths for the extra bodies (typically kids). Interior styling is by Terence Disdale with Reymond Langton Design.

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like MERCURY, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price (€42,500 - €68,000), making the charter cost €212,500 to €238,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.
