After graduating from nautical school, Marko obtained maritime certificates and hands-on experience. Along the way, he has been well mentored by highly experienced Captains in the industry and worked his way through the ranks steadily from Deckhand and Botswain to Deck Officer and Captain. His welcoming demeanor, enthusiasm for travel, and keen sense of leadership lend themselves perfectly to the role of Captain. He has spent time on commercial vessels and within the offshore industry to upgrade his certificate to a higher level, which later gave him the opportunity to work on bigger yachts. After settling down and starting a family, Marko transitioned to private and charter yachts. Most of his professional career has been spent on yachts from 65 to 200 feet.
As the Captain, Marko is responsible for the safety, overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He communicates clearly with the crew to ensure compliance with, and understanding of, the vessel’s policies and is responsible for the delegation of duties and oversight with respect to department heads.
Marko has a true passion for yachting which he loves to share with the crew and charter guests. His hobbies include; Sailing-Regatta, hiking, windsurfing and spearfishing. During his football career, he qualified as a chef and soon started to work summer seasons on the Dalmatian cost as a chef. During the winter, he was upgrading his knowledge in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. He particularly enjoyed running an advent street-food stall during the Christmas market in Metković. In 2018, Josip decided to join the yachting world as a chef and since then he has worked on sailing and motor yachts. Outside of work, Kristina maintains a healthy and active lifestyle. She finds joy in nature, animals, swimming, and hiking. Additionally, she enjoys expressing her creative side through 3D modeling and visualizing spaces using various software.
IVAN KOMADINA - ENGINEER
Although he is the youngest crew member, Ivan already has a few years of experience as an engineer on board boats. After he finished his high school education as a Ship Engineering Technician, he boarded a merchant navy ship as a cadet engineer for one year. After his apprenticeship, he worked for a few years on different bulk carrier ships. After he had gained some experience as an engineer, he decided to try it out as a sole engineer on yachts. In his spare time, he loves playing basketball, watching documentaries and riding motorcycles.
TONI STOJANAC - DECKHAND

After getting his maritime master's degree in 2015, he served as a deck-cadet on cargo ships for two years. This deckhand job position is the first step towards achieving his dream of becoming a yacht captain. When he is not working, he is sailing racing, cooking, enjoying different outdoor activities and scuba diving.
Reviews
What a beautiful yatch and exceptional crew. We have done some wonderful sailing, cruising, eating and enjoy the water toys.
Please pass our thanks on to the owners and our compliments as well. Finally we greatly appreciated being able to get on the yatch on Friday as well. It was wonderful to not have to move from a hotel to Sam Lini Saturday morning. We are very much looking to the rest of our cruise.
Al the best.
Roger, Eva, Jon and Brig
We love the San Limi!
Jon
Starting from the initial offer which was accurate, clear and all the useful information was presented in the best way from the very beginning, then during the booking process and finally during the charter when both you and the Captain were at our disposal to keep us informed of how the charter was going.
Your personal commitment was priceless as the Captain was aware of every detail concerning the preferences of this group and along with the crew went on and beyond! Our clients got the most of the beautiful Croatian landscapes, enjoyed the hospitality and returned back home with unforgettable memories mentioning this was an amazing trip as they were excited not only by the beauties of Adriatic Sea but also by the service that was provided.
Thank you again for the excellent cooperation and taking such a good care of these guests! I will definitely have SAN LiMi in my mind for future inquiries and wish to cooperate with you again soon!
My best,
Katya
I would like to express my profound gratitude to you both. Thank you for organizing a great vacation for me. I have sailed quite a few times, but this was the best crew I was ever with. Always friendly, competent and smiling. You can immediately tell that the crew is run in a friendly yet disciplined way.
And the Captain, of course. Larger than life, with tons of expertise and stories, loved all over Croatia and with tons of charisma.
The cook is absolutely great, a head above what you normally find on charter boats. My only wish is - Ivan, your food tastes great, but please design a less caloric menue, I gained 3 kilo in a week - and thats swimming 2 miles a day and cycling in the mountains.
Thank you again,
Mike
Thank you so much for this unforgettable vacation!
This was our first trip on a yacht. So we didn`t know what to expect.
We were all thrilled! From the first moment on we had a wonderful week.
The crew, very friendly, cautious and mindful. No wish kept open. The food, thank you Ivan!, extraordinary delicious! And last but not least the captain. We enjoyed the little trips with him. Always smiling, his eyes sparkling and happy to show his loved country Croatia. It seems he knows every hill, every stone, every citizen. He makes you feel safe and comfortable.
The yacht is just beautiful and lovingly decorated. With enough space and several spots to sit and chill. Our kids and us enjoyed the great sports equipment every day.
But wonderful equipment is one, people make the difference!
Thank you
Heiko and family
The boat itself is more of a motor sailor than a sailboat. It has for cabins - one very large master suite, another king bedroom, a queen, and a double- bedded room. The profile of pictures of the boat as of the spring 2019 did not to it justice. It is very nicely appointed and decorated - modem and very comfortable. The boat had a full complement of water toys which we happily put to good use.
The Croatian crew was outstanding. All of them came from Split. Captain Leo Lemesic served in the Croatian Coast Guard and knows the waters like the back of his hand. He was always able to find a mooring for both daily water play and evening where we had space to ourselves without the intrusion of other boats close by. We explored the towns of the coast with him as guide and dined with some of his friends on the boat after a wine tasting.
The rest of the crew was engaged, courteous, and fun. Ivan, the chef, prepared a series of meals, all based on local ingredients that were spectacular. Jelena, who cared for us on the boat, was a joy of positive energy and care and Carlos and Andy were always available to help in whatever we were doing.
