First, the useful glitch in the system: KAPTAN SEVKET is a 29m classic wooden gulet that actually sleeps a full 12 guests in 6 en-suite cabins – a layout you almost never see at this size. Translation: you can bring the whole group without playing “who gets left on the dock.”
Built for being outside, not just photographed. The wide teak decks are essentially one big social platform: sunpads for everyone, shaded dining, and a proper swim platform that turns the stern into your own little beach club. From there you launch the 4.35m dinghy, paddleboards, canoe, Seabob and snorkel kit – plus light fishing gear for the optimists.
Inside, comfort > spectacle. The 6 cabins (4 doubles, 2 twins) are all en-suite and air‑conditioned, with real storage, portholes for natural breeze, and a simple, wood‑and‑white interior by Mustafa Nalbantoglu. The raised saloon runs as one practical lounge/dining space with good views, Wi‑Fi, TV and an indoor audio system – more “comfortable base camp” than “marble museum.”
Refit reality check: originally launched in 2001 and refreshed in 2023, she combines a proven hull and systems with an up-to-date charter setup: full AC, upgraded amenities, and a crew of 4 who live in separate quarters so the guest areas stay yours.
