ALMA DE MAR Yacht Description
File this under “small yacht, big sandbox”: ALMA DE MAR is a 2020, 72ft planing motor yacht with a shallow 1.4m draft and a 19‑knot cruise. Translation: you’re not stuck offshore watching everyone else enjoy the coastline — you’re the boat sneaking into the shallow bays and reef edges while the bigger hardware sits outside and sulks.
Built for six humans, not sixteen acquaintances. Three cabins (master, VIP, twin) sleep up to 6 guests, with 2 crew running the operation and a proper separation between guest and crew areas. It’s a tight, private setup for a family or small group who want the boat to themselves rather than a floating hotel corridor.
Water is the main event, not the backdrop. You get a SEABOB, paddleboard, surf board and a 4.5m RIB tender, plus a hydraulic swim platform that doubles as your launch pad, sea‑level hangout and “we live here now” spot. This is a yacht where you actually get in the water, not just photograph it from a distance.
Modern hardware, modern comfort. GRP hull, recent build, Wi‑Fi, full air‑conditioning, TV in the saloon and an ice maker keep the living conditions firmly in the 2020s. You’re not dealing with “charming” legacy systems – you step on, press buttons, things work, and the crew handles the rest.
Why charter ALMA DE MAR instead of the next 70‑something footer on the list: because you get a recent‑build, 6‑guest boat that’s fast enough to cover ground, shallow enough to get close in, and properly tooled up for water‑toy abuse – all without paying to move around unused extra cabins.
