NOMAD IV Yacht Description

Headline glitch: NOMAD IV is the 100’ cruiser-racer that keeps showing up in race results and still has room for 12 guests and a chef who actually cooks, not reheat. Dubbed the “world’s fastest 100’ cruising superyacht”, she’s built to sail properly, not just loiter at anchor looking glossy.

What makes her different: this is a Finot-Conq designed carbon-style weapon with a 46m rig, lifting keel, twin rudders and 9 tons of water ballast each side. Translation: you get genuine performance sailing in comfort, with a stable, flat ride instead of the usual heeled‑over chaos. If you want to feel what a modern ocean‑race platform can do, without sleeping in a pipe berth, this is that crossover.

Inside the machine: up to 12 guests sleep in 5 cabins, including a proper master and a rare quadruple cabin that actually works for families or a race‑style friends’ trip. Full air‑conditioning, Wi‑Fi and a straightforward, functional interior mean you’re not fighting for space or dealing with “minimalist” storage that only exists in brochures.

On‑deck reality: big, uncluttered cockpit and wide decks mean you can either play “active crew” on maneuvers or sit back and let the team run the boat like the race yacht it basically is. At anchor, the mood flips to toys: waterskis, wakeboard, multiple kayaks, tender, paddleboards and snorkel kit – enough kit to keep a mixed group busy without a toy‑rotation spreadsheet.

Why charter NOMAD IV instead of another 30m sailboat: because this one was engineered to go fast, far and with a full guest load, then refit in 2021 to keep everything sharp. You get genuine sailing, real range, serious deck space and a tight, experienced crew who’ve taken her around the world. If you want your “relaxing cruise” with actual performance baked in, this is the point where you stop scrolling.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a sailboat like NOMAD IV, the expected APA is 15% to 30% of the charter price (€9,900 - €19,800), making the charter cost €75,900 to €85,800. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

NOMAD IV
Guest Feedback 2021
Barbara, thank you so much for finding Nomad IV for our charter in the West Indies in late January. Philippe, Aner and Julia were fantastic to sail with. We had a blast. Such a beautiful (and fast!) sailboat. We highly recommend Nomad IV and her crew for people who want a luxurious sailing adventure. The state rooms were very comfortable and roomy! I gained a pound a day from Julia’s cooking! Mercy! Mercy!!!

Thank you again for booking this trip for us. We hope to sail with Philippe and crew again someday soon.
