What yacht charter are you looking for?
Croatia Luxury Yacht Charters
Luxury Motor Yachts
Motor yachts are only getting bigger and more luxurious. These high-end superyachts are like floating luxury mansions with all the amenities like full spas, back deck beach bars, and crew to make you feel like royalty.
Motorsailers
Croatia is unique for having a big fleet of luxury motorsailers typically owned by the captain himself. This is a great choice for those who want the luxury of a motor yacht with the thrill of a big rig and less spend on fuel!
Mini Cruises
Croatia is unique because it is one of the few destinations that offer luxury yacht charters for large groups 12+ (EU regulations make this tricky). Croatian Mini Cruises has 10+ cabins and the amenities of a private luxury yacht.
TOP 10s
Our brokers participate in several crewed yacht shows each year, like the recent CROYA 2024 in Split, to inspect yachts and meet the crew; these are our favorites in 2024.

What is a Croatia Luxury Yacht Charter?
Croatia has, in recent years, developed into the number 1 luxury charter destination in the Mediterranean, with the fastest-growing fleet and infrastructure!
When we talk about Croatia Luxury Yacht Charters, we refer to larger motor yachts or superyachts with high-end amenities and large crews, often with specialized staff such as fitness instructors, massage therapists, sushi chefs, and so on.
Think Beach Clubs, Jacuzzis, Spa rooms, Saunas, onboard Gyms, Cinema rooms, large selections of water toys with one or multiple Jet Skis, fully stocked bars and dancefloors, and whatever else you can dream up.
The price range of Croatia luxury yachts is quite wide, starting around €50,000 per week and reaching into the millions for a high-end mega yacht.

That is why we have written the Top 3 Croatia Yacht Charter Ultimate Guide. In this, we map out the best itinerary for each region, including MUST-VISIT destinations like Hvar, Dubrovnik, Pula, Rab, and the Mljet and Kornati National Park.
The southern dalmatian coast itinerary is by far the most popular as it includes the most hyped destinations like Split, Hvar, and old town Dubrovnik.

Croatia is known as “The Land of 1000 Islands” and has over one thousand islands, of which only about 50 are inhabited. Previous clients have referred to it as “a paradise of unspoiled landscapes” due to its pristine beaches and anchorages, picturesque coves, and crystal-clear waters.
In addition to the Dalmatian islands, the Dalmatian coast on the Croatian mainland offers some of the locations featured in the popular “Game of Thrones” TV show and the James Bond movies, as well as UNESCO World Heritage sites and world-famous scuba diving and snorkeling spots.
Some of the most popular destinations include Blue Cave (on Biševo Island), the Kornati Islands (with a variety of marine life, including dolphins, sea turtles, and colorful fish), and Velebit Channel, which is popular among experienced divers due to its strong currents and abundance of marine life.
Kornati National Park
The Kornati archipelago is a must-visit destination for Croatia yacht charters. With numerous secluded bays, crystal-clear waters, and untouched nature, the Kornati Islands offer a unique sailing experience. Many of the islands are uninhabited, providing a pristine and peaceful environment.
Pakleni Islands
Located near the island of Hvar, the Pakleni Islands are a stunning archipelago with hidden coves and beautiful beaches. Sailing around these islands allows you to discover secluded spots for swimming and relaxation. If you are visiting Croatia, add this to your list!
Mljet National Park
This park, situated on the island of Mljet, is known for its two interconnected saltwater lakes. Charter yachts can anchor in the sheltered Pomena Bay and explore the park, including the tranquil lakes and the small island of St. Mary with its Benedictine monastery.
FAQ
The high season for Croatia yacht charters spans from July and August. This is by far the busiest time as well as the hottest.
If this does not appeal, you can opt for a pre-season or post-season yacht charter. The Croatian climate is warm enough, with mild winters, too, giving you a bigger window during which to find the perfect motor yacht for your Croatia yacht charter.
The months of May-June and September-October are quieter and less crowded as far as anchorages and routes are concerned. During this time, the motor charter rates are considerably cheaper than during the high season, especially for popular destinations such as Dubrovnik.
Depending on what itinerary you pick, you will fly into either Split, Dubrovnik, or Zadar. Most Yacht Charters start in Split. From the airport, we will arrange a car transfer to the marina, which is about 30 30-minute drive.
A 1-week luxury yacht charter in Croatia typically costs at least €50,000 for a high-end experience. Here is an example price breakdown of a luxury motor yacht like Majera.
- Base Price: €77,500
- Croatian Charter Tax (13%): €10,075
- Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA – 35%): €27,125
- Crew Gratuity (15%): €11,625
Total Estimated Cost: €126,325 for a week.
This covers everything involved in your charter: Food, drinks, fuel (usually 3-4 hours per day), crew services, and use of water toys.
Note the prices range depending on the yacht, itinerary, and time of year. To get an exact price, contact one of our charter brokers, and they will send you a quote.
It is easy; just reach out to one of our charter brokers by selecting a specific broker from the list at the bottom of this page or by initiating a chat in the chat box below. Tell us what type of yacht you are looking for, when you wish to go, and what your estimated budget is, and one of our brokers will get back to you with a list of options suiting your needs.
Ideally, you’d inquire about a Croatia motor charter 12 months in advance. WHY? The best motor yachts are often fully booked long in advance and it’s not unusual to see popular dates booked 2 summers ahead for a Croatia yacht charter vacation.
Inquiring less than 6 months ahead often means that your first choice is unavailable for charter. Additionally you might find that the motor yacht you want, can’t make it to the port where you wish to commence your yacht charter.
You are in luck. Croatia is one of our top destinations for large-group charters. This is what you need to know:
In Croatia, luxury charter yachts that carry more than 12 people are legally considered passenger ships. These ‘Mini Cruises’ have special registration and fulfill special requirements that allow them to do so. (Some of our largest luxury yachts can accommodate 30 – 70 guests.)
The best options for a yacht charter for more than 12 guests are Mini Cruises or Gulets. Inquire with us, and we will send you a list of the best options.
As Mini Cruises are hard to come by in most other countries, they book out fast, so inquire in good time!

Read MoreYes. A set amount of hours of motoring, usually between 3-4, is included in the APA (advance provisioning allowance). In a standard itinerary this is enough to get you to your destination each day. If you want to go further and see more, you will need to pay for any extra hours of motoring.
PRO TIP: Take fuel consumption into account when choosing your luxury yacht. – Newer yachts, usually equipped with newer engines, are more fuel-efficient. A sailing yacht is more fuel-efficient than a motor yacht. While the initial charter cost for a new yacht might be higher, the potential savings in fuel expenses can make it a more sustainable and cost-effective choice in the long run.

Louis was great from beginning to end and walked me through the whole process. He helped me find a great boat that fit within our time and cost preferences. He explained the differences between the different builds and the pros and cons. Once we selected the boat, he explained and walked me through the whole booking process and answered all my questions. Finally, he checked in with me before, during, and after the charter to make sure everything met our expectations. I can’t recommend Louis enough if you are planning a charter, and I will definitely be in touch for our next trip!
